Wash and Care
milkteds® compression hosiery can be washed normally as elasticity is restored during the washing process. In order to maintain compression and prolong the lifespan of this luxury milk-fibre, it is advised that the product is washed with care, following the instructions below.
Ideally this product should be hand-washed in cold water using a gentle soap, but can machine-washed at 30° or less on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent.
Avoid the use of fabric conditioners, as they may damage and wear down the fibres, shortening the lifespan of this product. Please do not bleach, iron or dry-clean.
Air-drying this product is recommended, but can be dried in a tumble dryer on low heat. Avoid drying in direct, hot sunlight and on top of radiator.
Using a wash bag and turning the product inside out prior to washing, will prolong the lifespan of your milkteds® product.
Tip: Buy two pairs of compression socks. It will make the washing much easier as you can alternate in wash and wear.
